Accompanied by an experienced guide, the young explorers set off on an exciting tour of the Tierpark first. Along the way, they learn fascinating facts about tigers, polar bears, giraffes and more, and get to experience extraordinary exhibits up close. Interactive games and tricky puzzles provide loads of fun and get all the children involved. As a special highlight, the birthday group also gets an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes, gaining unique insights into daily life at the Tierpark.
After the tour, the fun continues! Picnic benches will be reserved for the group in a designated area of the Tierpark. There, you can enjoy snacks and drinks you've brought along. A guide will also lead exciting discovery games, perfectly rounding off the experience.**

The XXL children's birthday consists of two parts: The first 90 minutes include a guided tour of the Tierpark. For the second 90 minutes, reserved picnic benches are available in a designated area, and a guide offers discovery games for children.**
Each tour is created according to the welfare of the animals as well as the internal processes daily. Therefore, no individual requests can be considered. Please do not expect to be able to feed, pet or hold animals. The tour takes place regardless of the weather and is always adapted to the respective weather conditions as best as possible. If it is necessary to protect animals and/or people (e.g. due to outbreak of disease), a look behind the scenes may be omitted. In such a case, the duration of the tour will not be shortened.
* The number of people applies to adults and children and cannot be extended. The majority of the participants must be children (aged 7 to 15), but at least one accompanying adult is required. Attention: The guide cannot assume any supervisory duties towards the participating children - the corresponding responsibility must be assumed by the accompanying adult(s).
** Two picnic benches are available per booking, accommodating approx. 16 people. Food and drinks have to be brought along. In case of bad weather, indoor spaces can be used instead. The benches can only be booked in combination with a guided tour and are available immediately following the tour until 2:00 PM (time changes are not possible). The benches are located next to the bison habitat, close to the Tierpark's Bärenschaufenster entrance. Alternatively, you can book a complete birthday menu in the Tierpark's restaurant here.
